Expanding our knowledge of " the circle" we as a class are in a library working on an unknown project that is not clear to me yet. To my knowledge we are perfecting our blogs and wrighting about a video project that is top be finished within the next three weeks. Its all about circles, but what can be compared to the simplicity of a circle, even though the complexity of it can confuse some algebra student.
This shape is something more than a line has no ending point.

Why do people hate math?
Stasia- I think people hate math because you have to have an exact answer. There's no being close to the answer: its just wrong.
Amatulla-Some people might hate math because they have to work out the problem a certain way, and in the end they get confused.
Do you like or hate math. Why?
Stasia- I love math because it does have a right or wrong answer. There is no beating around the bush.
Amatulla- I have always liked math, probably because ever since I was little I have been good at it. Also because everybody use to say it was my favorite subject and it just stuck.
Do you think math is important for "Artists"
Stasia- I think math is somewhat important to Artist. It more important to some more then others. Visual Artist use math alot! Music people use its for counting measures. Theatre people use it for disign of theatres and many other things. They also use them for set disign. Dancers really only use math when it comes to formations, counting, and music cuts and lenghths.
Amatulla-I agree all artists use math one way or the other because math is important and it just makes art easier for the artist.
How can math education be improved?
Stasia- I know that when i was in middle school all my math teachers were boring, uninterested, and they had no energy. when i came to Booker T. I had/have Ms. J!! She has so much energy and she really loves math which makes it sooooo easy to learn from her. I just think more math teachers need energy and excitment!
Amatulla-Math education can be improved by making it interesting for all students. By taking math and showing a student how it can be used in something they love to do they could be more willing to learn and enjoy math.

No Math No Life
Math is the world just like art. Anuthing and everything you can think of has something to do with math as well as art. For example: something as simple as fruit, if you plant fruit you have to make sure you give it the right ammout of water. What if there was no such thing as math. Then there would be no life.
